Hope we meet again once the storm is over,
Hope we all sail it through and recover.
Hope we leave behind all the suffering,
Hope we wake up to a beautiful morning.
Hope we don’t lose battle without weapons,
Hope we get God’s mercy to defend.
Hope we start fighting and start healing,
Hope we guard and celebrate some winning.
Hope we start taking this very seriously,
Hope we don’t spread this out foolishly.
Hope we stay home and show maturity,
Hope we showcase our responsibility.
Hope we breathe again normally,
Hope we greet again traditionally.
Hope we don’t have to stay six feet away,
Hope we can travel the world without worry.
Hope we learn from this cruel beating,
Hope we don’t treat this as plain sailing.
Hope we get to see the beautiful sunrise,
Hope we are doomed for good this time.
